PermaStruct® RapidDeck is a modular FRP decking and boardwalk system engineered for demanding environments. Its lightweight, high-strength composite structure allows for rapid installation and long-term structural reliability. Designed for minimal maintenance and maximum durability, RapidDeck is ideal for remote access areas, environmentally sensitive zones, and sites where conventional construction methods are impractical.

Constructed from fibreglass reinforced plastic (FRP), RapidDeck features an anti-slip walking surface bonded to a corrosion-resistant composite subframe. The materials used are non-conductive, fire-resistant and impervious to water, salt, and most chemicals. This makes RapidDeck an optimal solution for coastal boardwalks, public access pathways, industrial walkways and nature reserves.

Engineered to meet compliance and performance standards

RapidDeck is tested and certified to meet AS1657:2018 (Fixed Platforms and Walkways) and is compliant with related structural and safety standards. The decking system is available in two standard load ratings to suit different applications:

• 3kPa pedestrian-rated version for public and light-traffic use.
• 5kPa heavy-duty version for utility access paths, emergency vehicle routes and other structural applications requiring higher load capacity.

Its load-bearing capability, fire resistance (AS1530.3), and slip resistance (AS4586) ratings make it suitable for use in projects where performance, reliability and safety are critical.
